Management of live operational aspects of companies – within the boundaries support, as part of a project delivery and during the transition from project into support.
Defining Project scope, aims and deliverables.
Managing the Project Documentation/Governance e.g. RAID logs and engagements. Dealing with Project reporting, conflicts and escalations
Identifying budget requirements and monitoring spend to date including forecast to complete. Including developing, proposing business cases, and reporting on top priority projects to board level. ·
Managing staff, resourcing, project plan and milestones. Determining what level of management is required in order to drive results. E.g. Prince2 or a more Agile approach and daily catch-ups, “scrums” employed. Discussing and occasionally challenging technical approaches, to ensure that the best and most effective solution is presented and developed.
Identifying dependencies and even dealing with “issues” and “dependencies” which are not part of the scope of the project in order to get the job completed and delivered. · Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a subprograms.
