We can review systems requirements and look at the high-level requirements and options associated with a project. We know from experience that things are not always as they seem.
Getting permission to build is the end of a two-stage process; 1; Planning Permission and 2; Building control. However, it is important that you have considered ‘how’ a site will work with your intended building or development.
Planning looks at the general layout and surface treatment of your proposal and how it will function in its environment. We can therefore advise you on how the choices you have are likely to impact on your final decision for the project. Attention to detail at the pre-planning stage is more likely to gain Planning Approval at first submission.
Building control then provides the details necessary that are compliant with the Building Regulations in such a way that a builder can build in a ‘standard’ way. This is how things such as energy efficiently, sound insulation and carbon footprint are determined.
